NOTICE February Officers Elections and Membership Renewal: the Brookland Neighborhood Civic Association holds its annual election of officers at our February meeting, the next of which will be on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2020. Any voting member in good standing may run.
Please note that in order to vote in the election, our by-laws provide as follows: “voting members joining for the first time or after a lapse in membership of more than one year shall be eligible to vote on any business before the Association only after thirty (30) calendar days from the date of payment of dues.” Voting membership is available to those who live, own property, or who own a business or organization located within the following geographical area: North: Buchanan Street, South Dakota Avenue, Michigan Avenue; South: Rhode Island Avenue; East: 18th Street; West: Metro tracks.

The Brookland Neighborhood Civic Association (BNCA) holds general membership meetings once per month, on the third Tuesday of the month — except in August and December. We usually meet at DCTV headquarters, at the Brooks Mansion, just outside the Brookland Metro Station.
