The mission of the Brookland Neighborhood Civic Association (BNCA) is to provide a forum for considering and advancing the interests of Brookland residents on issues affecting the Brookland community. With the support of our members, we advocate on issues that are important to Brookland such as real estate development projects, public safety, and traffic and transit concerns.
We hold monthly meetings, except in August and December, as well as neighborhood events like clean-ups and social hours. Our big event each year is the Greater Brookland Yard Sale in May. The board is comprised of all volunteers, who are elected annually at our February meeting, or during special elections in case of vacancies. Learn more about what we do in the community. For other details, read our Bylaws or History.
